MAINE KATAHDIN KOPS HONOR SOCIETY by Martha Nason Theme was 'KOPS 4 KEEPS' by 0256, Fred Becker. KOPS are the example that TOPS works. To be an honored KOPS is the ultimate of living TOPS. Seven KOPS were honored for being at or below goal from November 21st to March 27th. Molly MacArthur was awarded a certificate and check for being the most below goal. KOPS to KOPS Alliance certificates were presented. Year End Awards (Perfect Attendance, At Goal or Below For 2010 Officers Awards) and new officers were installed. Many awards were presented along with a special ceremony in memory of past KOPS members. Centerpiece contest was won by 0256, Calais. KOPS 4 KEEPS was a powerful theme, may we live the Pride 4 Ever. As KOPS always remember to give a helping hand, as it will keep you both focused on the TOPS mission.

MAINE PINEKONE KOPS HONOR SOCIETY by Kathy Harriman Our first 2010 meeting was held March 6th in Westbrook with the election of officers, Of the 33 KOPS in attendance, all were at or below goal!!! Eleven KOPS were recognized for staying at or below goal since December 5, 2009. Six new KOPS were welcomed and presented with sashes, pins and gift certificates. After 22 years in TOPS, Anita Morin finally reached KOPS and thanked her TOPS friends. 2008 State King, Sidney Culleton, honored us with his presence along with field staff Paulette Souliere, Pam Witham and Charlie Quint. Shirley Garrigan was awarded for being the most below goal. Nominees for KOPS of the Year were taken with the winner to be announced at SRD in May. Sidney Culleton said, "I've never met a TOPS person I didn't like". His dream for the future is to be appointed by the governor as the official "State Visitor" and travel everywhere as a social representative of Maine.
